The Joint Laboratory for Synthetic Biology Microbial Manufacturing was co-established by Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technologies, Chinese Academy of Sciences and a leading biotechnology company in 2018. With a total investment of RMB 10 million over three years, the joint laboratory will focus on the application of innovative technologies in synthetic biology, developing new products, establishing technology platforms and training younger generations. The two sides will also jointly apply for science and technology funding at all levels.
