Shuqiang HUANGProfessor/Center Director

Research on synthetic biology methodology based on micro-nanometer and high-throughput detection and analysis technology

Dr. Huang received his  B.S. degree in Chemistry from Ocean University of China, and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he explored new applications of microfluidics in biology and microparticle synthesis. He obtained the postdoctoral training  at Duke University, where he worked on the integration between microfluidics and synthetic biology, built several methods to answer the biological questions in regards to bio-safety control, antibiotic resistance and bacterial growth law etc.
