The Jiang Lab seeks to elucidate the biosynthetic pathways and biological roles of natural products related to human health and diseases.

Yindi Jiang is a professor at the Center for Synthetic Biochemistry, Institute of Synthetic Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Jiang graduated from Fudan University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree and received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2014. From 2015 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University and the Max Planck Institute of Chemical Ecology. The Jiang Lab seeks to elucidate the biosynthetic pathways and biological roles of natural products related to human health and diseases. The lab combines expertise from different fields, including biochemistry, synthetic chemistry, plant biology, cell biology, and mouse genetics. Over the past five years, he has published in peer-reviewed journals, including Science, Nature Chemical Biology, and JACS.
