Xiongfei FUProfessor/Associate Dean

Focusing on the application of quantitative analytics and advanced instrumentation from physics and engineering to biological study, to facilitate our design ability of living system.

Prof. Fu received his B. Sc. degree in Physics from Zhejiang University. He obtained a PhD in physics from the University of Hong Kong, where he start to work in the modeling of synthetic genetic circuits and quantitative characterize the synthetic bio-systems. Then, he undertook postdoctoral training at the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, Yale University, where he studied the mechanism to balance between phenotypic diversity and coordinated group behavior . In 2016, he started his lab in iSynBio, focusing on the application of quantitative analytics and advanced instrumentation from physics and engineering to biological study, to facilitate our design ability of living system.
