Junbiao Dai won the 11th "Tanjiabang Life Science Innovation Award"

On November 19, 2018, the eleventh awarding ceremony of Tan Jiazheng's Life Science Award, known as the "Nobel Prize" for life science in China, was held at Central South University. Professor Junbiao Dai, deputy director of the Institute of Synthetic Biology,SIAT, and director of the Synthetic Genomics Research Center, won the "Tanjiabang Life Science Innovation Award".

The Tajiabang Life Science Award was officially launched in 2008. It is a life science and technology award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It was established with donations from United Gene Technology Co., Ltd., and funded by the Tajiabangu Foundation, Co-organized by the Life Science Awards and Awards Committee and co-organized by the Shanghai Biomedical Industry Association. It aims to reward scientists who have made achievements in life sciences in China and young scholars who have achieved innovative research results. In the ten years since the award was established, twelve winners have been elected as members of Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
