The Management Committee is the highest authority of iSynBio. The total size of the Management Committee is not less than 7 members, and the members are senior officials recommended by the competent government department, SIAT, and joint development units. The Director of the Management Committee is recommended by SIAT and approved by the Management Committee. The President of iSynBio is nominated by the SIAT, approved by the Management Committee, and appointed by SIAT. The President of iSynBio is the Secretary General of the Management Committee. The secretariat of the Management Committee is located at iSynBio. The term of the Management Committee is 5 years. During this period, the competent government department, SIAT, and the co-construction unit can change the members of the Management Committee as required, and report to the Management Committee for approval in writing.
